Our story began in 1982, when Mark and Jolly Krautmann founded Heritage Seedlings & Liners with a passion for growing unique and exceptional plants. What started as a small nursery grew into a well-respected wholesale grower known for its diverse selection of trees, shrubs, and specialty plants.

Over the past four decades, Heritage has continued to grow and evolve, building a reputation for quality plants, horticultural expertise, and a commitment to thoughtful growing practices.

2025 · A New Era

In 2025, a new chapter began when Octavio Martinez, who had been part of the Heritage team since 2003, became the nursery's new owner. With more than two decades of hands-on experience and a deep connection to the business, Octavio brings a fresh vision while continuing the values and traditions that have shaped Heritage from the beginning.

Today, Heritage continues to grow, embracing new ideas, expanding its offerings, and finding new ways to share its passion for plants with the next generation of gardeners.
